AMPS elects new committee at AGM
The Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes (AMPS), the trade body for SSAS and SIPP providers, today announced that two new members join their committee. The announcement was made at the AGM, which took place yesterday at the Institute of Directors.
Renata Chester of Suffolk Life and Zachary Gallagher of Berkeley Burke & Co filled two of the four available spaces with Robert Graves of Rowanmoor Pensions, the current chairman of AMPS and David Phillips of D A Phillips & Company being re-elected.
AMPS Honorary Secretary, Andrew Roberts of Barnett Waddingham, welcomed the latest additions to the committee, commenting: “Renata and Zac will be able to bring new thoughts and ideas to the committee and between them have many years of experience. This will prove invaluable to our success in making sense of the regulatory and legislative requirements placed on the industry.”
Robert Graves added: “The scope of AMPS’ work continues to expand, and we remain reliant on the support of committee and non-committee members alike to maximise our compliance and legal knowledge.”
The committee, comprising of ten representatives from across the industry, will convene later this month to decide who will act as chairman following Robert Graves’ decision to stand down after three years in the role.
